It was our first time to visit this small historic village of Bayfield located on the shores of Lake Huron. The village is around two hours from the Blue Mountain passing by rolling farmlands and beautiful Ontario scenery. Bayfield’s Main Street is lined with well preserved old buildings and one of a kind shops which would surely entice anyone to come, browse and shop. There are also coffee shops and an ice cream place.

The village recently had 6 sailboat sculptures made of iron and powder coated installed around the area. The Bayfield Sails Project intends to honor the marine history of Bayfield and Lake Huron. Here are 4 of the 6 sailboats we were able to find.
