“Horses fly without wings and conquer without swords” – Unknown

And so for 3 weekends (2 in September, 1 in October) we drove around the Caledon area chasing the Headwaters Horses. Headwaters Parade of Horses is a whimsical and unique series of outdoor horse sculptures featuring 28 fiberglass horses transformed through the creativity of talented artisans. These magnificent sculptures have been vibrantly brought to life to reflect the spirit of the Headwaters. Each statue stands at 15 hands and measures 18 inches wide (chest), 8 feet 3 inches in length, 6 feet at the highest point, and weighs 150 pounds. (From Headwaters Horse Country website)

There are 28 horses – 2 are with private owners and 1 we simply cannot spot despite checking the location. We have visited 20 horses so far and have 5 more to chase in another weekend.
