Winter slows everyone down but when the opportunity to watch Casablanca with Live Orchestra at Kitchener’s Centre in the Square came, we were in. This was a no driving wandering as all we did was join a short trip tour. (For more short trip tours, visit this site.) Before the show however, we stopped by for a buffet dinner at Crossroads Family Restaurant in Elmira, ON. Crossroads serves home-cooked meal and is an Amish restaurant. Not only was the food was delicious but the quilts in the shop beside it were so gorgeous.
The movie and the orchestra did not disappoint either.

While trying out my driving skills, we stopped by for quick drinks at Main Street Bakehouse, Stouffville, Ontario. Was not very impressed with the hot chocolate but the baked goods were delicious. Additional brownie points for the decor too. And then a quick check if the lone town mural is still at its place.
