Christmas Village 2015
Took me 2 weekends, several week nights plus one non-working day to finally come up with this year’s Christmas village. There are some minor moves/revisions to be done but I say this is around 90% complete.

In one Quebec street – we found these whimsical, colorful, artsy street lights. Of course, it got my attention.
Aside from empty chairs, graffiti, cemeteries and covered bridges – another favorite whenever we travel are murals. I love them since most of the time they have a story or are historical. From one of those quick detours we came upon the town of Bowmanville, Ontario (1 hr, 15 mins from Toronto) and found these historic murals. This one was in front of Bowmanville Town Hall, just north of King St. Not historic, but colorful. At the end of the day, let Read more…
The COOLEST place I saw in this island was found in the municipality of Saint-Laurent. The main attraction here is the Saint-Laurent Maritime Park (Parc Maritime de Saint-Laurent). The park preserves the maritime heritage, featuring exhibits and guided tours at the former Saint-Laurent Ltd. shipyard. So where else can you Read more…
