When you mention St. Jacobs, what comes to mind is the market, abundance of retail shops and Mennonite heritage. This time we visited St. Jacobs to meet up with friends and check out the new murals I heard has been added.

Unravel” Located on the side of Hotel 52 by artist Stephanie Boutari.

Conestoga River Scene” by Luke and August Swinson. Located on the wall of the Rhumba building.

Tokens of Love” beside Cellar 52 and designed by Brie Pointer.

It was the best day to be walking along St. Jacobs streets.

Even found this unique art using electronic cords into something beautiful.

“Quilt” located at the front of the Toy Soup building. This piece reflects the culture of quilt making in Waterloo Region. The design features nine different quilt block patterns, all of which have significance to members of the quilting community. Art by Stephanie Scott.

“A Little Bit of Country” on Scotia Bank’s wall. Designed by Stephanie Scott.

Outdoor images at the Three Sisters Cultural Centre’s Culture Lot by Roger Witmer, Cathy Amos, Christina Vogiatzis, Amy Ferrari and Sarfraz Qandeel Faraz.
