Taking advantage of sunny (but still cold) days in winter, we decided to drive along Hiway 6 from Blue Mountain, with no definite place in mind. We ended up at Mt. Forest an hour later. The lamp post sign got me.

Then the murals of course. Found at the corner of Main and Wellington St.

We had our “dollar store art-items fix” at Looney Toones Plus then enjoyed coffee at Coffee Culture.

But the most unexpected item found at Mount Forest were the angel wings on the wall of the Century 21 Heritage House building (BMO Parkette) . Huge, colorful, beautiful.

Not bad at all for a winter day.
