A weekend get-away with our friends the Ocampo and Gonzales couple.
From our starting point of Ajax, Ontario – we drove eastward. A few stops on Day 1.
At Norwood, Ontario (1.25 hours from Ajax) where they had this cute and photo worthy mural.
At Havelock, Ontario for the Heritage Railway Station and for lunch.
Spent a few hours at colorful Perth.
Last stop for Day 1 – Appreciating the quaint village of Merrickville.
DAY 2
Day 2 : Packenham. Despite the rain, had a quick pose in front of the Historic 5 Span Bridge. This five-arch bridge is one of kind in North America and is believed to be the only one of its kind in the world outside of Russia.
Inside the St Peter Celestine Roman Catholic Church.
After attending the Sunday mass at the St Peter Celestine RC Church.
Last stop – Almonte where is was raining. Coffee and last minute chats saved the day.
Then it was time to say goodbye.
