Four more lighthouses we found in the Gaspesie Region.

The first lighthouse we encountered on this trip, the Carleton-sur-Mer lighthouse.

An almost identical photo of the Pointe Bonaventure Lighthouse.

La Martre Lighthouse – a beautiful wooden structure that has been in operation since 1906 and until now.

And here she is! The Cape Gaspe lighthouse. A genuine sentry of the sea, the Cape Gaspé lighthouse rises proudly atop Forillon peninsula, standing watch over the boundary between the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Gaspé Bay. We walked 4 kms one way on an uphill gravel trail under the scorching 30 degrees of sun to see this beauty.

Atop the 95-metre-high cliff, the cool breeze from the bay and the view was well worth the trek.
