Once in a while, on a trip, we leave a day with no planned activity. Do spur of the moment drives and just look for surprises. Well, we were lucky this day as we found ourselves in the town of Chandler. Around an hour from Gaspe where we stayed, the place is the 2nd most populous town in the Gaspesie Region. Here we found a mix of everything fun.
Lovely cafe’ with yummy sweets too! Not to be missed if you are in the area.
Had our tea/coffee in these giant teacups. There were other seating areas, all designed differently.
Most unique chair I have seen. The writings are French verses and poems.
Then found this building with all four exterior walls filled with paintings about what Chandler is all about.
So happy, the baseball team accepted me.
His turn to goof around.
Even had ice cream by the roadside.
