Life got so busy lately but YAY! we finally had time to check out the nearby trails.

First, George Christie Nature Trail located at the Eleventh Line. An easy 3 kilometer loop trail with a pretty view of the Blue Mountain.

The trail is actually made up of seven short interconnected trails and is also linked to the Georgian Trail. The curved paths lined with pine trees were properly marked for direction. Good place for leisurely walks and for pets too.

Second, Train Trail which links Stayner and Collingwood. This point-to-point (linear) trail covers 11 km. It follows an abandoned rail line which used to be a part of the Ontario Simcoe and Huron Railway system, which connected Collingwood to Toronto.

It was fun to discover 2 trails in 2 days. For sure we will be frequent hikers in these trails in the next few months.
