Thank you Collingwood/the town of Blue Mountains (not the village) – for you are an unlikely place to spend a week during these times. Popular and very near the GTA, crowds flock to you.
But we were wrong, despite apprehensions #twosomewanderers had fun exploring while keeping to our bubble. Your beautiful nature trails were not full; viewers of your gorgeous lookouts were distancing; the blue Georgian Bay provided the much needed calm.
We came for the fall foliage and got more! Interesting general stores in secluded places; deserted roads perfect for selfies; street art and picturesque sideroads.
Thank you Collingwood/the Blue Mountains – you are truly one of Ontario’s gem. See you again soon!
