In the town of Shelburne, Ontario is Boyne Valley Provincial Park. This is a non-operating provincial park (meaning no facilities) but worth a visit for the gorgeous view from the lookout.

We started from the main parking area, which was just a fence away from this barn.

A few meters away and we were greeted by these apples on the ground. Signs that fall is almost here!

Then we took the 70 meters Murphy’s Pinnacle Trail, which led us to a lookout with an amazing scenic view.

We took our time taking in the view and started downhill. This trail led us to more lovely scenes of greenery.

After the seemingly magical forest, we found ourselves in an open field which provided another dazzling view.

More walking and we reached this part of the park. Primrose Loop Side Trail starts at the County Road 19. One can still continue by crossing the road, but we decided to turn back to where we parked.

That means, going uphill and taking a second view from the lookout.

The only challenge to this trail were the uphill and downhill paths to the lookout, otherwise this was a pleasant hike. Definitely coming back for the lookout view by fall.
