On our way home from Cornwall, we decided to stop by Morrisburg wanting to check out a mural or two. Surprisingly, we got a few more!

The “Morrisburg Dairy” at Pinkus Plaza – this depicts an important part of life in South Dundas in the 1950’s & 60’s where the dairy was a meeting place for friends and a source of a favourite cone – two scoops for a nickel.

On the East and West walls of the Giant Tiger buildings are the 2 murals “Train Troop” and “Old Morrisburg”.

The one that we enjoyed and impressed us the most however, was found in the Upper Canada Playhouse. “Old Main St., Morrisburg” mural covers the full north wall of the building. The work is so vivid and “life like”.

Morrisburg has a few more murals, I have read about – thus for sure this will not be our last time to visit this place.
