Once in a while we go back to our “roots” – and that means bridges, water structures and dams. Civil Engineering in other words, which is what brought the Twosome Wanderings together in the first place. And Healey Falls has all of these.

But before we arrived at Healey Falls, we passed by this pretty bridge at Omemee, where we had a quick snack. The bridge sort of set the “theme” for the day.

The photo below does not capture the strong current and deafening sound of the water, but the lower video sure does.

A very calm Healey Falls.

Taking a walk across the dam.

Our visit was cut short by a sudden downpour, but we ended this wandering with a hearty dinner at The Station in Havelock, a must visit if you are in the area.
