Sunday afternoon we found ourselves at the historic Main Street of Georgetown, Ontario. The street may be short but kept us occupied for a while. There were the colorful artworks and huge murals; the metal tree sculpture and a busy ice cream shop. The stop was too quick, but for sure we will be back to explore more of Georgetown.
Found near the parking lot, a mural of Georgetown’s main street and what it is known for – its Farmers Market.
At the corner of Wesleyan and Main street is this huge mural showing some interesting places in the North Halton area – the Niagara Escarpment, the Limehouse Kilns and Hilton Falls.
Then 3 of the 4 huge artworks at the Royal Canadian Legion building.
Georgetown’s Tree Sculpture – this lights up at night!
This was a fun stop discovering another Ontario small town!
