The latest trail we took was the Eldred King Woodland Trail at Whitchurch-Stouffville. Entrance is by Hiway 48 between Vivian and Aurora Roads.
The woodland trail follows the Black River and is lined with sugar maples, white pine and beech trees.
A resting area to enjoy the Black River.
This may be an easy trail mostly flat with some hills. What makes the place special however is its tranquility, with just the sound of branches creaking, leaves rustling and wind whistling. Just the kind of trail in these times.
