We have been holed up in our home for almost a week now. But Friday March 20 was a pre-scheduled day off for the Twosome Wanderers. We could have cancelled this vacation – but we decided to go ahead with it. Meanwhile, the phrases “Stay-At-Home”, “Quarantine”, “Flatten the Curve” and “Social Distancing” are now being emphasized and asked from everyone.
The weather was not the best on this day. We brought our own food and decided to drive a bit north of Ontario. We drove through Minto and found this tiny covered bridge which made our day.
We ended up in Kincardine and from the car watched the waves of the Penetangore River.
We did not miss passing by the Kincardine Lighthouse at 236 Harbour St.
On the way back, we stopped by a few pharmacies looking for disinfectant wipes, alcohol and thermometer. No luck at all.
May these angels found in one shop bless us all!
