From the municipality of Tweed, we stopped by the township of Stirling-Rawdon. The township is one of the three Canadian National Historic Sites and comprises of a few villages and hamlets in the Hastings County.  It was the Labor Day Monday and all the village stores were closed. Had fun with some of the nicely decorated shop windows along Mill St.

And surprise! surprise! right in the downtown area was this covered bridge spanning the Rawdon Creek and built by the Rotary Club in 1977.
