It all started with a quick food stop at Pastry by Camille. 
The food was delicious and the server was more than nice. Seeing our camera and noticing we were not from the place, she asked what brought us to that side of Buffalo. When we said “the murals” – she suggested we take a short detour at Hertel Alley which was just a block a way.
