I once thought mansions only existed in movies, until I set my foot on the Gilded Age Mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. A must see for architecture buffs, history lovers and for ordinary people like me – a must visit to feel awed, amazed, astounded. These photos were from the 4 mansions (The Breakers, The Marble House, The Rosecliff and The Elm) seen in 1 day. It was a mind boggling and jaw dropping experience. I apologize for the absence of detailed descriptions. There was too just too much to see and take in.
