2 photos from our recent short trip to Collingwood via the Caledon area.
Taken at the Beautiful Joe Park in Meaford. The park is named after the dog Beautiful Joe who lived in Meaford and whose story inspired the bestselling 1893 novel of the same name. The novel contributed to the worldwide awareness off animal cruelty. This red chair is one of the 4 in the Meaford area.
Taken near the Dufferin County Museum and Archives. It was cold and windy but I dared get down the car, walked the icy ground just to take this photo.
I adore simple pleasures. They are the last refuge of the complex. ~ Oscar Wilde
