Following the suggestion of a friend, we wandered around Grimsby’s Lake Street to check out the colorful houses we’ve heard about. We were not disappointed since the homes were really unusual and  attractive.  Built around Grimsby Beach which also has a long and distinct history, the buildings date back to the late 1800s when they were first used as summer cottages.

A mix of Victorian and Funky if there is such.

When I was taking a photo of this house, an old man in his car stopped and said “Go further down, turn right and another right and you will find more”.

And we did find MORE!!

They look like houses from a child’s coloring book.

Living in color, indeed!
