We arrived in Sussex, New Brunswick at 5 PM on our 2nd day. Sussex was specifically chosen as a stop over town being known as the mural capital of Atlantic Canada. After checking in at Fairway Inn (Roachville, NB) the driver had ice cream at Sully’s Ice-cream Parlour which was inside the town’s Visitor Information Centre. We got our mural guide and the camera went clicking.

There are 27 huge murals depicting local history scattered around the town’s major streets. Here is part 1.

Maple Syrup Harvesting – Dale Fehr, St. Martins, New Brunswick

The Telephone : A New Brunswick Invention – Barbara Wilson, Bainbridge Island, WA, USA
