Our drive from Quebec to New Brunswick was blessed with beautiful weather and gorgeous clouds.
After 2.5 hours of driving, our first stop : Florenceville Covered Bridge, Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick. This is a half and half! Half of the bridge is covered, the other half is open.
20 minutes away from the Florenceville Covered Bridge is the world’s longest covered bridge – the Hartland Covered Bridge. Nobody visits New Brunswick without passing by this iconic bridge that spans 1,282 feet. Constructed in 1898 and opened on 1901.
This is the other bridge that connects Hartland to Somerville, New Brunswick (as part of Hiway 130). This may not be as popular as the covered bridge but it sure looks beautiful against the blue sky and green all around.
Then we managed to have some poutine at the nearby stand – CK’s (You Got to Eat Here!)
