One Saturday afternoon we kept driving up north until we reached the place called Alderville. The place is one of the 2 reserves of the Alderville First Nations. Then we found this unique shop called The Gathering Place.
At the entrance.
Huge bear on the grounds.
An inukshuk to welcome visitors.
But these chairs outside the shop took my attention the most.
Inside the shop were First Nation products like quality prints, sculptures, cultural fine arts, crafts, candles, jewelry, moccasins and leather goods.I did not take photos of the items inside the shop. I was not sure if it was allowed. We did however got some cookies and drinks.
