It is said for Quebecois – churches are their castles. Here are some of the churches, basilica, chapels we visited in this latest Quebec trip, barely touching the tip of the iceberg in terms of places of worship in this lovely province.

 Lady of the Cape Shrine – Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.
The original stone parish church was opened for worship in 1720. The building of the present basilica began in 1955 and was inaugurated in 1964. The Casavant organ is one of the largest in Canada. Its 5,425 pipes form the shape of a Maple leaf. The St Anne Basilica, Beaupre, Quebec

This basilica has been credited by the Catholic Church with many miracles of curing the sick and disabled.
