I started a Christmas village this year upon the prodding of a friend. I’ve always liked them but never got around to starting one. So this year is the year.
And what’s an EmaRene Christmas village without her favorite structures and places?
A covered bridge. Also known as a kissing bridge.
This piece is the starting point of the village. If not for this bridge, I would not have started.
A lighthouse. Another favorite photography subject. A village must have.
Then another covered bridge. Because, I cannot get enough of these bridges.
The Bookstore. Where villagers can browse and brush up on their literary interests.
The Museum. Not just a museum, but an Art Museum of course.
The neighborhood Post Office. For stamps, for mailings, for the traditional way of connecting.
