For familial ties and social responsibilities, the weekend brought me to North Plainfields, New Jersey. The uncertainty of the 9 hour road trip was sprinkled with snow storms, traffic, and GPS misdirections but we made it (though not in time).
Something at North Plainfields however made the trip worth taking again someday. These beautiful homes.
And this one I got to see the insides as this is where our friend lives. A 100 year old, 3 storey Victorian home with 12 rooms. The house had cast iron chandeliers, antique clawfoot bathtub, and a kitchen covering almost half of the second floor.
