Part 3 of the Cambridge murals with Stroll Walking Tours.
It was our lucky day as we found Mediah working on his latest mural. The artist was nice enough to interact with us and answered our questions. It would be interesting to come back and see the final artwork
It is not all contemporary or modern art on the walls of Cambridge. There are a few historical ones too. This one by Michelle Jones is a salute to the Founding Fathers of the place now known as Cambridge. At the Cambridge Centre for the Arts, is also a mural collage of Great Canadian Artists featuring Margaret Atwood, Oscar Peterson, Tom Thompson, Leonard Cohen among others.
Before leaving Cambridge, we indulged ourselves with this mural by Bart Smeets. A Belgian muralist who creates larger than life works mostly on the subject of people or animals. We were awestruck by Smeets work as well as by the beauty of the Cambridge walls.
