In all our drives and wanderings, we have not made a stop in the township of West Grey, Durham Region – but there is always a first time. We found the place fascinating, having a varied mix of everything.
First, there was a waterfalls. The McGowan waterfalls, a busy place for anglers, picnickers and even paddlers.
A beautiful Heritage Bridge walkway crossing the Saugeen River.
Of course, any town with street art interests me. We found a few historical murals.
Other street art were statements. These ones are the called “Peace Circles”.
Then 2 walls of modern and colorful ones.
There really are a lot more places to discover in the Grey County.
