A drizzly Thursday was all it took for us to finally visit MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art). ** Contemporary art is the art of today, produced in the second half of the 20th century or in the 21st century. Contemporary artists work in a globally influenced, culturally diverse, and technologically advancing world.

There were several exhibitions on-going and we spent all day viewing and trying to understand some of them. Our apologies as there will be no explanations nor brief summaries of the exhibitions. Suffice to say, the Twosome Wanderers were in uncharted territory. But everything was fun!

Sol LeWitt’s – A Wall Drawing Retrospective.

Natasha Bowdoin’s _ Maneater

One of the most colorful, fun, intriguing exhibition was by Trenton Doyle Hancock, Mind of the Mound : Critical Mass.

There were visual and audio exhibitions, paintings, installations and collections. Anything an artistic mind can conceive or imagine.
