In 2014, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery launched its public art initiatives with the Erie County and the City of Buffalo for murals painted on several buildings. Finally had the time to visit neighboring Buffalo and check out the murals.

Magic Buffalo (2017) by Bunnie Reiss – 1322 Hertel Ave.

Can’t seem to get enough of this colorful and fun-looking mural.

White Bicycle (2018) by We Are Here at 1260 Hertel Avenue.

Weego (2018) by Chuck Tingley and Matt Grote at 1503 Hertel Avenue.

Work and Play (2018) at 617 Fillmore Avenue by Otecki (Wojciech Kolcz)

Wildflowers for Buffalo (2018) by Louise Jones at 465 Washington St.

As of last count, there are 18 murals all over the city commissioned by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Too sad we only found 5 of them. Oh well, Buffalo is just a mere 2 hours drive from Toronto.
