To put us more in the Christmas spirit, we dropped a visit to the Centennial Park Conservatory (151 Elmcrest Road) in Etobicoke for its annual Winter Flower Show.
It is a one month show where the entire conservatory is decorated with more than 30 varieties of poinsettia. Admission is free and the conservatory is open 10 AM to 5 PM on most days. On some days they are open longer and I heard the kick off is usually festive with Santa, cookies and caroling.
We may be too old for Santa and cookies, but not too old to enjoy the Christmas flowers.
