Once in a while a late afternoon stroll with a friend is just the best way to end the day.
First stop was the Allan Gardens Conservatory (150 Gerrard St. East, Toronto).
We kind of expected poinsettias for their own Winter Flower Show but it seemed the poinsettias bloomed late this year.
From the Conservatory grounds one can view the 23 storey high Okuda San Miguel mural.Â
Walking and then taking the subway we moved to the Tunnel of Glam at 1501 Yonge St. This 80 foot tunnel shines and glitters with all the hanging lights and 14 million reversible sequins. Add to that the cellphone and camera flash for all those instagram photos, including ours.
Since we were already in the area, we ventured some more to Inglewood Drive (aka Kringlewood Drive) where more than 50 giant inflatable Santas decorate the street.
And we actually met Santa!!
Hours of fun wandering with a friend!
