“Into each road trip a little rain must fall” – and the day was today. Our last day at the WMNF. We knew then that our scheduled scenic railway trip with Conway Scenic Railroad will not be as expected. But the show must go on. It was a good thing we only chose the 1 hour trip. Managed to take a few decent photos while on the train.

The iconic Conway Scenic Railroad Station at North Conway. This is the railroad’s main terminal.

For the past 5 days, North Conway has been our home. But we have seen this town only at night. This rainy day made us get to know the town more. After the train ride, we decided to have late lunch at Stairway Cafe. It was a good decision. The place was cozy and unique. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Service was excellent too. Highly recommended when at North Conway.

There was nothing much to do anymore as the rain was relentless. Still full from the late lunch we decided to have tea/coffee at The Met Coffee House & Gallery.  Exactly just the place to relax, enjoy beautiful artworks that were lined on the wall or catch up on social media as they have free Wi-Fi.

Spending the day at North Conway was a fitting end to our 6 day fall break in New Hampshire.
