Goodbye New Hampshire but not goodbye for White Mountain National Forest (WMNF). Thank you instead for putting up the most colorful show on earth! Magical is the feeling while traversing your scenic hiways filled with crimson, russet, auburn and amber foliage. It was very hard not to pull over for every breathtaking view of the mountains, notches and rivers. It took so much prudence to stop taking videos and photos of the endless combination of colors. We conquered you White Mountain in every way possible -through the Auto Road; via the Cog Railway; by the gondola and through the train. WMNF you were enchanting when covered in fog, disarming on a rainy day but truly captivating on a sunny fall day. In all ways you held us in awe. Our photos will never make it to National Geographic but they will be great reminders of your beauty as seen and experienced. Thus, it is not goodbye White Mountain National Forest but rather see you again next fall!

**Within the White Mountain National Forest are 48 mountains of over 4800 ft high; 15 large lakes; 10 state parks; few notches and hundreds of trails from hard to easy; 29 covered bridges, 26 waterfalls and a myriad of maple varities. Choose your reason to visit!
