Elgin County of Ontario is best known for anything TRAIN. Its centers (Alymer, Port Stanely, St. Thomas, Dutton, West Lorne and Belmot) have one way or the other been related to the railway industry. Here’s a collection of anything TRAIN while on a quick 2-day trip to the area.

First, the Murals at St. Thomas. We were only able to capture 4 of the 10 “train-themed” murals.

Outside the Elgin County Railway Museum (unfortunately, we arrived late) and a train car with some artworks.

A train cab and a mural at the same time. What an artwork!

At Port Stanley with a yellow and green train for the Rides.

Saving the best for last. “Perseverance” the rail sculpture in St. Thomas made up of 20 tons of atmospheric corrosion resistant steel.
