As twosome wanderers we always ask ourselves “Where is the fun in a road trip if we are not chasing something?”
Thus on this day trip, we chose to chase something original and unique – like barn quilts. Barn quilts are eight-foot square (and larger) painted replicas of actual fabric quilt blocks installed on barns, schoolhouses, churches or other public boards along Ontario roads. Barn quilts are rural eye candy glimpsed as one rolls down rural highways.
